I am interested in…
What are you working on?
My research focusses on string theory, black holes, and holography. Specifically, I am working towards a microscopic understanding of de Sitter quantum gravity. For Anti-de Sitter (AdS) spacetimes, the AdS/CFT correspondence has provided a concrete and successful framework for such a microscopic picture. With my research, I hope to contribute to a similar success story for quantum gravity in a universe that more closely resembles our own.
What are you looking to get out of the DRSTP?
The DRSTP provides the opportunity to meet and connect with physicists across the Netherlands, and to learn about the different directions of current research in theoretical physics.
What interests do you have apart from you research?
I enjoy sports, such as running, cycling, and swimming, but I also like relaxing evenings with a good book or some knitting.
